The Wellington Trust is seeking formal representations on changes proposed to the pinnacle zone on Mt Wellington by 3 September 2014. This is likely to impact on future climbing on the Organ Pipes. More information here.

AGM – A working group was established to review BAI assessment parameters and to report recommendations back to the TCIA board. This project has been completed.

Climbers Meet at Cradle Mountain to celebrate 100 year of climbing:  Tasmanian climbers celebrated at Cradle Mountain to commemorate the Malcher Brothers’ traverse of the Cradle Skyline in 1914. An article about the centenary ascent appears online in the Tasmanian Regions magazine here
